Here’s exactly how it works

Lock in early for a better rate. If your team qualifies for the championship, it’s credited toward your ticket. If not, that’s the trade for locking in early.

  • Step 2:

    Choose your lock amount

    Pay what you want, starting at the posted minimum. Before you commit, we show you your lock rate and redemption balance, the exact total you'd still owe if your team qualifies, fees and taxes included, so you always know both numbers upfront.

  • Step 3:

    Your rate is fixed when you lock in

    Lock rates move during the season based on your team’s performance, so locking in early gets you a better rate. Once you check out, your lock rate and redemption balance are fixed, they don't change.

  • Step 4:

    Your team qualifies, you're credited

    If your team qualifies, you're credited TixLock dollars (lock amount × lock rate) toward your redemption balance. During the redemption window, you pay exactly what you locked in, no surprises, no extra fees, and the tickets are yours.

  • Step 5:

    If they don’t qualify, that’s the deal

    Your lock expires and your lock amount isn't refunded. That's the trade, your lock amount is the price of securing access most fans will never get. Only put down what the shot is worth to you.

No. A lock is a ticket reservation product. You’re prepaying for conditional ticket credit toward a specific game, not playing for a cash prize. TixLock dollars can only ever be used to buy tickets and cover fees for your locked game.

Each team’s lock rate reflects its path to the championship and expected ticket demand. A team with a longer road carries a higher rate, a favorite carries a lower one. Rates move during the season, so locking in early matters.

TixLock dollars are ticket credit. They apply to the face-value price of tickets to your locked game, plus associated fees. They have no cash value, can’t be cashed out or transferred, and expire after the game.

Yes, up to 5 locks total across any teams you want.

Yes, always, and it’s all-in. Before you check out, we show you the exact total you’ll pay at redemption if your team makes it, with every fee and tax already included. That number is locked when you complete your purchase, it’s exactly what you’ll pay, not a penny more.

Yes, minimum and maximum lock amounts are shown at checkout, and spots are limited per team, shown live on each team’s card.

Locks close November 1.

If the game itself is canceled and not rescheduled, your lock amount is refunded. If it’s postponed or moved, your lock simply carries over to the rescheduled game.

You must be 18 or older and a resident of the United States. TixLock is not available to residents of Washington State or Hawaii, or outside the U.S.

You’re covered. If we can’t deliver a ticket you’ve properly redeemed, you get a full refund of your lock amount plus anything you paid toward that ticket.
